Handmade violin based on the 1718 Maurin Stradivari
Bach E partita
I would urge you to listen to the instruments on regular speakers rather than on your phone. Please note that the sound clips can taken a few seconds to load on some devices and networks.
This violin was made in the white when I undertook the violin making course at Chapel Violins in 2011. It was varnished in 2014, and has been donated for use in the Junior Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. It is modelled on the 1718 Maurin Stradivari, which is in the collection of fine instruments at the Royal Academy of Music.
Excerpts played by John Mills, leader of the renowned Tippett Quartet, John Wilson Orchestra, and co-leader of the English Chamber Orchestra.
